 Studio Art
I offer the  courses described below and usually announce them first to my maling list. (Contact ).  I use social networks for quick messages and reminders. If you ''like'' my facebook page or ''follow'' my twitter page, (access top right) you'll  get automatic notifications and short art bits.  I like to keep my studio art classes small so I can  give lots of attention to each student. If you aren't sure with which class to start,  I'm happy to give some friendly advice during the registration phase.  Please note that all registrations must be completed before the first class commences. Materials and reading lists plus any pre-class assignments are supplied to official registrants. The earlier you register the more time you have to complete them before the first class. (This helps to see a before and after effect before my art lessons contaminate you ^/^).  To register, email me. --Beth

I was immersed into the textile mecca of the North Carolina Triad by right of birth. A penchant for  beautiful fabric and well-executed design was ingrained early and later threaded a passionate interest in fashion and art.  I chose fine art as the core study at university because I wanted to teach, but also excelled in fashion retailing, flat pattern and draping construction. In addition to practice and study, my knowledge expanded by having the good fortune to live and to network in fashion capitals like New York and Paris.  I arrived early at a coffee and re-draped a friend's scarf. In minutes I had an audience and this lead to  offering a more structured course. It became one of the top registering courses among 100's at the venue where it was regularly offered in Brussels.  -Beth
